find a nice empty street. then look for a wall and hit it going 40mph if not more.

Step 1: DISCONNECT your battery! Then take off the glove box. There are 3 10mm nuts that you'll have to remove. Then unplug the airbag then start pushing up. It is a p.i.t.a. because there are about 20 plastic clips holding it to the dash frame. Be careful if you have to pry against the dash. Use a shop towel and a wide metal or plastic putty knife. Fairly easy overall, just scary because you don't want to scratch or dent the dash.

disconnecting the battery is totally unnecessary! just unplug the connector located behind the radio/glove box area. once that is disconnected there is no danger of the air bag going off. i never disconnect my battery for any electrical work to the car and nothing has ever gone wrong. ive done this in all of my vehicles.

oh yeah if you take the extra 5-10 mins to rip out the dash pieces to remove the radio piece ripping out the airbag cover is a breeze just pull it straight up where its next to the radio piece.

yea, make sure you "rip" out those pieces. Also, make sure that you have brand new stuff to put back in because the ripping might get intense
