Aftermarket Sunroof

Hey All,

A couple of mods I am thinking of doing this summer are

1. Adding a Webasto sunroof. 2008 Honda Civic Hybrid with TVS 935 Twin Vent Sunroof

2. Adding a spoiler. Acura CSX Spoiler OEM Style 06 07 08 09 Painted SPOILER:eBay Motors (item 130309140060 end time Jun-06-09 06:43:05 PDT)

I have a couple of questions:

1. Has anyone had a Webasto sunroof installed? If so was it successful and how much did it cost?

2. Is the spoiler for the CSX the same as for the Civic? Is there any major advantage of an OEM spoiler over the aftermarket one I have linked above?

An OEM Civic spoiler would cost about $100-$125 more.

Thanks,
CG

That's a pretty dumb thing to say. Based on that everyone should buy everything at the time they buy the car? People can't decide to change things later?

It is a dumb question, because it's irrelevant. I didn't get it with a sunroof and that is over and done with. There isn't any point in revisiting that now as it isn't going to change anything, and doesn't impact the adding of one now.

And most importantly your "question" doesn't have anything to do with my original post...

Sorry bud....I agree, should have just bought the car with a sunroof. As for cutting holes in car roofs aftermarket = never good. (Leaks, rusting around cut....etc.

But what ever floats yer boat

Ive seen good installations and i've seen installations gone wrong. It really depends on the skill and patience of the installer. I myself wouldn't do it

Webasto is a quality product--question is who will do the install? If you are set on doing this, find a huge car dealership or two, and find out who does their installs. They usually have a line on the best installers. Or you can call Webasto and ask a factory rep who does good work in your area. Good luck.
