ASM Dry Carbon Kits for '09 Civic Si?

Does anyone know how to contact ASM?

I've seen the dry carbon body kit for S2000 by the company and they look nice. I would be interested in a similar kit for my '09 Civic Si coupe. I realize it will be a costly upgrade (probably around $18k) but first I must either find a way to contact ASM or some other company willing to make it.

.................................................. ............................................
List of brands I won't consider either due to 'false' CF parts or some other quality control issues:

Seibon
VIS-Racing
AIT Racing
Extreme Dimensions
OYA Carbon Co., Ltd (They're in China, I am in U.S. Problematic.)
.................................................. ............................................

I am only interested in top quality true carbon fiber parts from reputable companies such as ASM. The only problem is... I don't know how to contact them. Is www.asm.com is their website?

If anyone can provide me with a contact info for reputable companies (based in either U.S. or Canada) who can manufacture aerospace-quality optimum compact low void dry carbon parts, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

Btw, no need for anyone to lecture me on how silly it is to spend a fortune on CF parts for Civic Si. My money and my car.

they wont make a kit like that im assuming since we're in the US and our body isn't even the same. The chassis code with the sedan is even different. ASM is crazy but im pretty sure they would only do something for the FD2, if they even did something for it.

Seibon's products are made of pseudo-carbon fiber. For instance, their so called CF hoods are nothing more than a few layers of carbon sheets on fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP). As such, their hoods are just a small fraction lighter than the fiberglass, and barely stronger than the FRP itself. Fake carbon-fiber products are for aesthetics than functional.

What I want is the real thing. Hoods, fenders, trunks, door panels, etc. made carefully from nothing but aerospace-quality optimum compact low void carbon-fiber. The real things are expected to cost anywhere from five to eight times the price of fake ones.

Great explanation! That's the point I try to make in every thread about someone asking about the Seibon "fake" CF doors and their obvious safety issues.

Seibon does make dry carbon fiber parts for the S2000. I don't think there's a real market to make dry carbon pieces for the Si though. But it couldn't hurt to ask.

Good luck, but I'm pretty sure you're the only person on this forum going this route with an Si. Dry carbon is expensive and our cars are cheap, so the market is nil for such a product. It'll most likely be a one-off car that completely kicks everyone else's ass. Post up pics of you manage to complete this build!
