Rattling due to taking off of front plate??

So I decided to take off my front license plate completely (yeah i know, kinda late) Anyways, I took it off and decided to hit up the mall afterwards. As I was driving on the freeway and once i hit about 75-80mph-ish, my front end begins to excessively rattle. Could the license plate holder possibly have created a gap between the front bumper and the sort of insert that goes inside the front bumper? I have an 07' SI sedan, did anyone else have this problem?

No. I just rattle everywhere else. Doors, Passenger seat, behind the radio, under the glove compartment... yep if I'm rattling up that far, I def cant hear it through all my other rattles.

The plate only has those to bolts that hold it on so there is probably something else going on with your car. It does not hold anything together.

The grille and bumper are all one molded piece, so nothing to rattle there. Try putting the plate back on (just as a test) and see if the noise goes away again.

Did you drop one of the little backling clips that the bolts screws into down into your bumper?
