ho-u-n-da would be the proper way to pronounce 'Honda', with the 'u' sound very quick, almost missing (sounds like the 'u' in 'rude').

As far as mugen, it should probably be:

mu g'en -- the g is like 'get'.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hiragana
There is a 'ke' character, with the " accent turning it into 'ge'.

It's pronounced, "ke-" like 'kettle'. Then ends in 'n' like "nnnn, baby get off my bed!"

Tein is Tayn, not teen.
Seibon is Save-On (as in the defunct drug store), but replacing the "V" with the "B"
Mugen--read my post above, it is not Myu-gen.
Tanabe is Ta Nah Beh.

nah, its pronounced "sagan", for carl sagan. the five is silent, and blends with the z as an s might, and the s overpowers the "zh" sound implicit in most sz scenarios. the i is pronounced a, and gen is pronounced g'n.

no, but its still important. in addition:

jewelry is pronounced "jew-el-ry", not "jew-la-ry" as most ppl say.

realtor is pronounced "re-al-tor" not "ree-la-ter" as most ppl say.

damn, i forgot the rest. ive written it down here somewhere...

ahhh. caramel is pronounced "care-uh-mel" not "car-muhl" like most sonic commercials say.

Ng is a racial slur

j/k, i think its "ing" as in the usual suffix. i also hear some ppl say its pronounced "wong" when spoken in the cantonese tongue, which leads others to ask why they dont just SPELL it wong. ha. also, someone said in a different dialect of cantonese, its pronounced "mnh"... but of course they dont tell me how to pronounce THAT.

and nguyen, according to a kid named something nguyen whom i knew in highschool, is "nuh-WIN", real fast, like "n'win".

I've got one: OZ, like the wheel company. Is it pronounced O-Z (the two letters separately) or oz (like aaahhzzz or the Wizard of Oz).

I just thought of two more.

RO_JA- the wheel company (I don't even have a guess on how it is pronounced)

tis- I know it stands for twenty inches strong but do you say all three letters separately, or all together like tiss, or all together like tizz? These stupid wheel companies with their weird names.
