My first interior mod (after 3 yrs w/ the Si)

My Mugen SS finally isn't feeling so lonely =P Decided the interior needed a lil' something something, so here's a new shift boot and shift knob. The ricer in me wants to slap Mugen Si badges on the car, but I've decided against it, lol.

Pardon the dirty car...

Not bad, weighted knob? I was considering this or the 340R.

I didn't weigh it, but it does feel heavier than stock. I was actually surprised at how heavy it was, was expecting it to be feathery.

Lol!

I'm just thrown off at how cold the thing is. It never really gets hot in Nor Cal, but I wonder if that thing gets scorching hot in summer, hmmm.

1. Buy yourself a set of gloves (or at least a right hand glove)
2. Place in car cubby
3. Use said glove to protect your poor palm from hot summers and cold winters.

Otherwise, nice looking knob!

Thx for comments ^^

A glove would be a great idea. We'll see if I'll need one--I know if I still lived in the 818 down south I'd definitely need one, haha. Stinkin' valley got so hot...

Razo looks nice!

As for getting the knob, you can get it from Majestic, but you need a valid VIN. So find one from a Mugen Si that sold (if it hasn't sold yet it won't let you).

Man, when I had my skunk2 knob in my car I made sure to keep a beanie in the car that I could just put over it in summer days. Eventually it still was just too hot to hold so I ended up taking it out and putting the stock knob back in.

Texas summer FTL.
