09 Chrome license plate garnish?
I recently purchased the 09 chrome license plate garnish for my 08 sedan. Fits on perfect and looks good, but the key hole doesn't line up perfectly and it's shorter than the 09's. Was thinking I could buy the 09 lock also, but I don't think that will help it line up. Any Ideas??

Thanks for posting this info. I liked the look of the new chrome on the 2009's, and planned to buy the part for my 2008. It's really surprising that Honda repositioned the keyhole by a tiny amount. I can't imagine there was any reason to do it intentionally. It kinda makes me wonder about their quality control, if a part from one year doesn't fit another year.

Did you put the clips in all the way? Because I'm rocking a '07 trim on my '10 and it fits perfectly. Though I did remove the key-lock and go for the clean look on the back.
If you're looking for the key-lock, I have one for free, just pay for shipping. |
