tint % for Galaxy Grey SI
what tint % do you guys suggest for a GG civic SI?
Law over here is that the front driver and passenger windows have to let at least 70% of the light in or block 30% of the light. Windshield cannot have anything and back can be as dark as you want... any suggestions? Last edited by MTLcivicSI; 03-12-2009 at 11:44 PM. |

35. it is dark, but not too dark. and just close enough to laws so you probably wouldn't get and greif over it. i have always like the look of 35 on the darker grey cars. i used to want it for my graphite accord. but it got t boned before i could tint.
35 ftw. |

I'm debating on either 20-25% all around (except front) Anyone got any pics of their 20% or 25% on their GG Coupes? I know darker looks better, but 35% is legal. My friend has 20, and says he worries all the time when he passes by cops.

![]() That is 15% on the back, so not limo and 35% on the front to be legal in california. At night, the 15% is like limo, you can't see through that. Last edited by JohnnySak69; 03-13-2009 at 04:22 PM. |

I also have 20%. I think it is the best compromise between looking good (you can hardly see into the car even during the day), and being able to see out of your windows at night. I have yet to have any trouble with the police.
