I was wondering what it would take to get a sedan hood on my coupe.

Is it possible to directly swap hood between the coupe and sedan? If not then what is the problem and or what has to be done to make it work.I feel the sedans have the best looking and best functioning hoods available.

ok..so what is the difference dimensionally(size, shape) of the two?If all it would take is minor trimming then I feel it would be somewhat worth it to do.I have heard the same thing about the JDM front conversion not working on the coupe yet there is/are people with it on a coupe.

not to sure about that. i know the fenders hood bumper glass are all different. therefor the dimensions udnerneath should be different as well.

give it a shot and let us no.or meet up with a guy with a sedan, take off your hoods and put them one on top of the other.

Why not just buy one for your car?

interesting......think you could ask him in further detail about this...might open up some more body mods for the coupe if it's that easy.

To those wondering why I'm so curious about this is that most of the better looking hoods IMO are for the sedan.Being that I already have a coupe I'm not going to sell it and buy a sedan for just a hood.anyways...Is-vic if you saw this hood swap..did it look normal or were there any gaps or rubbing that you could tell?

Hmm actually I was wondering about this as well. Some sedan aftermarket hoods do look better.
