Cruz Control Pad

My wife and I made a black suede leather pad with read stiching to go over the e-brake handle. When I use cruz, I tend to move my foot and rest the side of my leg on the e-brake.
So. I got some scrap black leather, some foam pipe insulation and red carpet thread. My wife's sewing machine can only pierce one layer of leather, so she did the decorative stitch, but I had to hand stitch the seam.
Here's some pics.

Unfortunately, the leather will fade to match the suede shifter boot we made you can see part of, in the last picture.

I haven't tried to find better leather yet, but thought some of you may appreciate the concept none the less.

Nice. May be the angle but it looks like it would make it harder to push the button... No?

Kinda looks like an oversized condom!!

Not a problem for pushing the button at all.

Suede condoms? Might be the next big thing.....

If that looks like a condom to you then, you've been doing it wrong. no condom has two open ends.......(j/k).
Looks ok, but would look better if slimmer maybe.
