Debating on Painting hood/ Trunk

Hello, I have an 08 TW FA5, And i always liked the black white theme. I was thinking of painting the hood and trunk a nice glossy black. What do you guys think of the idea? I know CF would be alot better, BUT i like OEM fitment and it would be a hell of a lot cheaper. If anyone has pics of this done, I know i saw someone in the show me your rim lip section with a white fa5 with a black trunk, i would love to see the whole thing. Thanx..

We've done our racecars like this, including the roof (but in flat black) do it in vinyl so that it's removable. If you do want to go CF I think someone makes a CF overlay for the roof too.

Here are some pics:

If you don't want CF then a black painted hood would look good also. If the paint job is good then it might even look better than CF!

Nope, it was a custom carbon splitter like the white car but then we just molded it in and painted it.
