Just a heads up here to the many who are ordering or have ordered the great looking shift boots from
http://www.augerresources.com. This applies to Si's; not sure about other models. If you have a Voodoo shift knob or any other shift knob that is countersunk (meaning sits lower on the shifter shaft than the stock knob), the Si boot from augerresources will not be a good fit. The problem arises from the fact that the plastic shift boot collar gets forced down past the bend on the shifter shaft. Looks baggy, sloppy somehow. Chris at augerresources worked with me and created a modified Si boot for owners with shift knobs like the Voodoo. The boot is shorter in length and instead of larger opening to accomodate the stock plastic collar, the opening to the shaft is very small/tight. What I did was sort of hold the top of the boot directly under the shift knob as I was screwing it back on. It tucked up perfectly. Awesome fit. Chris said he will make these available on request. I will get him a photo of the finished look so you can see for yourself. I will post a photo here later today when I get my hands on my digicam.
