Install JDM Trunk
-Install inner taillights to the JDM trunk
-Install the opener unit that removed from USDM to JDM trunk
-Install rubber support
Mine is type R trunk ( No key hole)
-Install the trunk to the car same way you remove it
-Install the wiring harness
However the JDM back up lights are on the trunk instead of the side the additional wiring required here

Install JDM Taillights (Side pieces)
-remove rear bumper (remove 4 screws each side 2 clips under then pop it out)
-remove 4 nuts (each side) that hold taillight

-remove the brackets (1 screw and 2 nuts each side)
-Drill one more hole to hold the taillight
Recommended tools

-Use dremel to cut out/shave as shown in pic

-Spray primer over the cut area to prevent rust
-The brake light sockets fit fine but the trun light sockets need to trim/cut in order to fit in.

-Install the lights and plug in the harness.
-To put the license plate on you need to drill 2 more holes on your plate.

BUMP, in the process of doing this myself. First time with a dremel too lol... almost done with the right side tail light.

When you say shave, i bought a basic dremel & set for 50$ and it comes with a little shaver for metal but it works really slow so we just cut off the part that folds out where you said shave and we're cleaning it up. Should work fine that way yeah?

thx !
