Hey fellas,
I have a question about the Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood - VSII Style http://www.seibon.com/pdut_detail_pic.asp?ItemID=548 The question is. You guys see the vent in the middle of the hood. How does that work for rain and bad weather? Does water get in the car easily? Or will it be fine? Just dont want alot of water getting in under the hood. Also, does anyone have this already and can they post some close-up pictures? Thank you The only reason I'm asking is because I'm thinking about getting this style hood. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! ![]() |

up on fgcoupe.com showstoppers tested it out and said water would flow into the engine bay in "scattered amounts"

I was looking into that same hood too, but was a little leary about the open vents for the exact same reason even though it doesn't rain much in my area. I just wish it came with a rainguard like the VIS Evo hoods do.
They (VIS) are supposed to be releasing an Evo-II CF hood for the coupes in a few weeks so we'll see if it has the rainguard. |
