Question Japanese plate? Debating

I saw an older csx with a japanese license plate behind the front windshield and got to thinking. I dont run a front license plate on my car and im debating whether or not i should purchase one of these plates.

First of all.. i drive a 08 black fg1 and fully understand that the fg1/fg2 models were never available in japan. I just want something that looks good. I was also debating if i should put it against the windshield orrrr... purchase a password jdm plate relocater and use that.

Let me know what you think of the whole idea!

It's part of the whole "JDM YO!" movement. I use to like those but it's kinda tacky specially if you don't even understand what the plate says or states. I would go for other mods like maybe some fogs or some springs that would give your car a nice look and slightly better handling

Useless thing... Better save your money for gas. Especially, you don't put your front license. If the cops see your car no legal front plate but you have a weird white plate (assuming they don't know JDM plate) on your windshield, they will nail you for sure!!!

That Japanese-esque FG2 plate is straight ricer gear. Why would you want a Japanese looking plate for a USDM model car?

I agree.

I'm not saying there aren't great parts in the land of JDM, but as I said in another thread, I just don't inderstand the desire to add a coin holder, radio delete plate, a no armrest mod, and all that other silly crap. Even if you did every JDM interior, and exterior mod available, you'd STILL have a LHD car, and nobody would be fooled into thinking otherwise.
