I've seen it in real life, fitment isn't perfect, you can even see how poor the fitment is in on of the pics of the CF thread posted above

My buddy has that on his S2K. Looks good in person. Looks even better when it's painted with the exception of the vents. Makes for a good subtle looking hood.

As for our cars, I think the AIT hood is as close as you're going ot get for the coupes. The other hood posted above is also pretty similar, but the vents are much larger. The ones on this hood are small in person, and closely replicate the look of the R hood.

I'm saving up for one. In truth I've just been to lazy to drive down to Honda to buy one, and I never drive my Civic anymore.

Yeah, it comes with them bolted on and they include a hex wrench to remove it too.

but right now i dont even have a lip kit on my car....too much money going to the go fast bits

does the rain catcher relocate the water else where? if so to where?....you havent had any problems with rust or anything with this hood?

I'm not sure, I've never had it rain while I had it one yet. I'll look at it when I get home. :P

As for rust, I'm going to be honest and say that there was a little bit of rust forming on one of the bolt heads where the paint had chipped off. I sanded it down a bit and applied some black primer I had laying around the garage. No biggie. It's funny how many companies don't use stainless bolts. My Vis Racing wing was the same way (they used steel hex bolts and those rusted up pretty bad).

awesome ok....could you possibly take pics of the rain catcher too?...

and for anyone is their a preference of vis/seibon/ait/etc. is one better than the other???? cause i seem to find vis cf hood/trunk cheaper than say the seibon at least for the oem style
