Red Carpeting

Has anyone seen or installed red carpeting in their FG2 Coupe? I have a RR Coupe and always like the Type R Jdm styling and think it would be a great addition with the stock black si floor mats. It would definitely be a day project but might be worth it. Has anyone else done this and where can I get good quality fitting carpet?

I have seen the red OEM carpeting in the RR just was wondering if anyone has done this in a coupe. Aftermarket carpeting is not always top notch any recommendations of quality manufacturers?

i have red carpet in my car, sorry dont have any finished pictures on this computer

noone sells molded carpet for our year so you gotta cut and shape yourself. i used cutpile carpet which is the same exact that is used OEM. got it from ACC: your authority for custom automotive carpet, floor mats, and more for cutpile its like $20 something a yard. you really only need two yards.

^ How hard is it to remove the seats, arm-rest, etc (Is it screw/unscrew?). Is there a DIY or something you can point me toward to. I'm very interested in doing this. Can't wait to see your progress.

4 bolts for each seat, 4 screws in the center console. 1 bolt in the lower backseat. everything else is just clips.

One more question. How did u manage to remove the gas pedal (the bottom piece) to put the carpet over? I've been searching for a good way to easily remove it but haven't found it. thanks.

there is a little tab on the backside of it you have to push in and wiggle out the pedal. unfortunately i broke my pedal off of the plastic piece dohh. its like almost $200 to replace it from honda since you have to buy the whole gas pedal and throttle sensor. fortunately i found a used set of pedals for $60.
