Anybody with the clear bra in MD?

I was wondering if somebody can recommend a shop where they can install this, right now I have an estimate of $449.00 for the deluxe kit (and if that is a good price, please let me know!). I want to put this before I go to a trip I have planned next week.
Thanks guys!

What's a "deluxe" kit? $449 is below the national average price for hood/fender/mirror/front bumper coverage.

Which either means it's a good deal, or generic material, or a poor installer. It's best to go to their shop and ask to see examples of their work.

You might want to find out what brand of film it is. If it isn't one of the major players.....buyer beware.

Other things you might want to find out is how much experience does the installer have. Are they "certified" by any of the major players out there? Do they use plotter cut kits or are they bulk installed or in-house designed kits (which are almost always horrible)?

Actually, they did a great job with my tints and overlays, I was just trying to see if the price they gave me for the clear bra was a good deal... It is computer cut and the brand is CLEARSHIELD...
Dan, please let me know if that is good...
Thanks a lot!

I wouldn't go so far as to say ClearShield is bad, but it's not my favorite.

I was quoted $700 or so.

My brother has one on his car. It covers the hood, bumper, fenders, side mirrors, and door edges (4drs). A clear bra will still need taking care of. I took a close look at his and it looks like crap since he hasn't been taking care of it. Some of the crap on it won't come off. It is a pretty good fit but some of the panels seem better covered then others. Other panels seem to have a bit too much exposed on the edge. Which still allow rock chips.

Lots of people seem to use the 3M clearbra.

Ronin, where did you get this quote from?
Dan, is there any particular reason why you dislike the brand?
According to the shop, they have a 5 year warranty for this product. This is from the website "Clearshield paint protection film is guaranteed against adhesive failure, bubbling, yellowing, peeling, delamination and much more".
I just don't want to spend $450 only to spend $700 later on...

Thanks a lot!

$700 hood/fender/mirrors/front bumper is right on the national average price. Throw in the door edges (which most charge $15~$20 a door) and you're getting a deal as long as it's a good installer.

I vaguely recall the place being at Clarksville MD. All the other places I looked into are in Montgomery county.

Good luck on your clear bra.
