painting splash guards?

i really like how nissan color matches their splash guards, and i think ive seen a white 8th gen on here with them and it looked great, before i have them painted i was just curious how they hold up? and if any special procedures were taken during painting, like extra hardener or extra clear?

any help would be appreciated.
