Seibon C/F hood help ASAP!!!!

hey guys i'm looking at getting the VSII C/F hood from seibon but I cant find any info on if it comes with rain guards for the vents. Does anyone know if it does and if not were I can get some? or any company that makes C/F hoods with the rain guards? thanks and please post ASAP because I want to buy it tonight thanks

i dont think they come with rain guard at all but i had that hood b 4 and u dont realie need a rain guard... i drove it with heavy rain and np here... unless ur driving it through a pond then u should worry...

was just posting how do u guys go about protecting the cf hood.....i hear keep it garaged all the time but i dont have a garage lol i have an pen driveway and i work at in a place with an open garage as well lol.........is it true that it turns yellown if to much sun is exposed???

was long as i keep a good wax layer on it u should b fine with it outside... i had mine outdoors all day everyday...

my friend has that hood for his car. He was really concerned because the vent sits right over the intake for the turbo. So I cut a piece of Lexan glass in the shape of the opening, and used clear silicon in a caulking gun and siliconed it on, and than you can have the option of putting the vent on after. I prefered it without, it looks awesome.

Only problem with Lexan is that is scratches very very easily. Hence, why i used silicon to put it on, so if any reason being why he wants to take it off than i can cut the silicon off to put on a new piece.
