Lamin-x before and after

For those of you who are thinking of getting lamin-x for your taillights here is a pic of before and after. I went with the darkest film "charcoal"
I also paid a tint shop to put them on for me. Cost $55 for the lamin-x and $35 for the install.

I was worried at first that it was too dark, and the lights wouldnt show through. However, they shine through just fine. Once I got them on and pushed the brakes its totally fine. Dont worry it looks great. I will try to get a pic up.

im sorry but i think that looks retarded... not trying to hate or anything but brakes are supposed to look red for a reason... not black not purple or even yellow RED!!! and whats the point of tinting them anyways? to me it just looks ricey

i believe you're right. It's only illegal if the brake light can't been seen from a certain distance away from the car
