Broke piece in doorpanal

Ok so i took off my passenger doorpanal to try to kill a squaking/rattle. And ended up breaking a little plastic threaded round piece that is holding my door lock cable.
The doors still lock by remote, and button, but wont manually lock.
Is this gonna cause me problems down the road?
