Do our coat hooks really suck this much?
So, I was moving from my old place to my new place and had a couple of suits that I didn't want to get messed up on the move, so I hung one from one coat hook and one on the other. Now my coat hooks are permanently down and will not retract back up. They just dangle there and fly all over the place. It's driving me insane. Can these coat hooks not handle the weight of this or something?

:-DIf your car is within warranty (and even sometimes if not), the dealer should hook you up. :-D
As for me and hanging clothes...I just hang them on the backs of the front headrest posts, so that they clothes hang down to the rear floor. That way, my visibility isn't affected as much compared to hanging them from the actual hooks. Hanging them from the rear bench seats' headrest pillars may also work. |
