People with Full HFP kit set.. $$$

How much did it cost to purchase and install the kits? Did you do it yourself? How easy would you rate installation? Is it worth it if a shop installs it?

All your comments, etc. would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was thinking of doing the AIT racing widebody kit, but that would be like 2300 including paint/installation/parts. Or more. While it's unique, it's very expensive... So now I'm looking at HFP.

try CHH (College Hills Honda) or any other Honda Dealers on the net....

install is pretty straight forward....DIY don't pay for installation....

I didn't get the full kit but just the front and back. I thought the side skirt were to plain looking. Check my thread for pics before and after Took the day off work The installation wasn't that hard. I just followed the instructions that I downloaded from college hills honda website.

I just bought my kit from CHH and had it installed at the dealer. A dealer installed it for $161. I would suggest shopping around the dealers in your area to see if they will price match CHH if you can't stand the shipping time. You should also make the dealers "fight" over the kit and the installation for a much better price.

I had no problems with CHH whatsoever though.

^ why did you pay to install it?? there could have been plenty of people in your area who could have helped you installed it for just lunch or something...

Alright so I won't be installing it at the dealer. Now I just have to find where I can buy it cheapest. I'm gonna tell my dealer to see if they can beat the price of CHH.. Thanks for the help.. More input is appreciated! I'd like to learn more.

Also thinking about the foglights.

My car came with it also, but the install should be fairly simple and straight foward. DIY!

Yeah, I agree you should try to DIY if you're trying to save $$. I paid to have mine installed though cause... well... at the time, I could afford it and didn't feel like messing with it. My total was somewhere around $1200 for the kit and install + tax. If I remember right, the kit alone was like $9XX.00

Good luck!

Got my HFP kit for $475 brand new Install it yourself. The front and rear is fairly easy. Just take your time and you should be good to go. For the sides, I highly recommend getxerxdone's DIY. No measuring needed, no templates to screw with and it comes out perfect.
