Debadging

hey i wanna debadge my car, just the "civic" emblem on the rear but im worried that it will leave a "sun tan" where the emblem was. i had the car since December 2005 so what do u guys think? and whats the best product to use to take of the residue? i got some spray stuff i think its called goop off or goo gone

i did that to my car after a year and if you look real close you can see see the civic lighter than the car....im thinking of try to buff it

It could leave a sun tan. It happened to my friends gti. I use dental floss to get it off after leaving my car in the sun for a while so the glue got sticky. Then use rubbing alchol to get the glue off. Hope this helps.

yes. it will leave a suntan but it is hardly noticible. Use dental floss to take the emblem off and goo be gone to take the sticky crap off.
