HFP front lip kit a little too big...

Hey Guys I'm very new here, and I just got a 2008 Civic SI Coupe..and today the dealership installed my new HFP front lip kit
But then I took her home and I noticed it looks like it's a lil big for the car...cause by the fender where the screws go...it has like a WASHER in between and there is a gap:SHOCKED:...sorry folks no picture yet...
I was wondering if some guys front lip kit is like mine..is this normal? Do I have to go back to the dealership and complain and rant lol (just playing).

well any response would be greatly appreciated..thanks guys!

i forgot what it is, but read on here. There is something you can do about this gap. Having a gap is a common problem and is often fixed. NO worries.

it's a lil big but that's ok. A washer is used to make the gap go away, supposed to anyway.
