painted LX grill

well i finally took the plunge and went ahead and painted the grill still not sure what to think of it.

looks good to me. i would think about clear coating iit to make it match with the paint.

nice... did that as well and did not apply clear coat.... flat black looks awesome. wondering if it will look better with clear coat...

The flat black looks good, but a clear coat will protect it better.

Did you guys have to sand the grill before the paint? It looks like a tough job to sand this thing.

yup... you have to sand it before appying the primer, let it dry(3x),sand with 2000, then apply the 1st paint coat, dry(3x).... need to prep properly.

yup! there is 1 screw that you will need to remove and you can just push the Emblem housing out.
