no it is a little different the hfp uses rails to hold the top up but the rest is basically the same
![]() where i believe the replica mugen used double sided tape to hold the top up but the rest is basically the same

the major diff is that u might have fitment issues with reps and u don't get the rubber strip along the edge.
The mugen skirts do sit lower because they mount lower than the hfp on the body of the car.

^ Your right...I got my replicas today and I was not happy with the fitment when i test fitted it.. Downer!! I guess I might have to go with the HFP sides instead..unless I can find some REAL Mugen sides...

^^ What was wrong with the fitment and where did you get them? I almost bought some on ebay for $120 or so before I realized they probably would have huuge gaps and whatnot. Are the fitment issues fixable?

I bought them from OptionJDM.com...You know what, I had my friend come over to take a look at it and he says that it should work. I guess I jumped to conclusion that it would not be a good fit..He says replicas are always like that..(I have never worked with replicas so my judgment was biased) but we'll see.. I'll post pics whenever I get to installing it...

If you sell them and would like to order some real Mugen ones I can order them for you and have them shipped to your house, but oviously I would need payment first. I get my parts at discounted pricess also.
