Angry Some a-hole hit my car!!!! What to do!!!

Welcome to one of my worse days in a while!! I got 2 sick kids, a psychotic x-wife, busy as hell at work, and to top it off as i'm leaving the doctors office i notice that someone ran into my bumper!!!!!! some of are scuffs and look like they'll buff out. but the majority of it is a deep gouge. it looks like it peeled the plastic covering off. here's some picks. any suggestions would help a ton!

that thing looks deep, either touch up paint and start machine buffing, or get that part repainted. it is probably going to cost a lot because they need to paint a large area to color blend the paint.

agreed with above. If you took that to a shop, they'll probably repaint/blend into that. Looks deep

If you have no money to spare, like me, either leave it, or attempt a DIY with some touch up paint.

I've been a victim of 3 different hit and runs. All resulted in a dent. So no paint work for me. I just left it as it is. I got no money

no it's actually not one of the worst days. it's just one of those days that starts out crappy and gets worse! my boys will be ok. i got one with a double ear infection and the other has bronchitis. and that is X-wife by the way. which i guess reminding myself that she is my x wife makes my day a little better. it's in the plastic part of the bumper. i don't know if that makes it better or worse. i'll run it by church brothers tomorrow. i'm just heading out of town later this week and hate that my ride not gonna look as good. i had big plans to do a complete detail job on it before i left so it would look great.

that's kinda what a figured. thanks all for the suggestions. i'm a new poster here but have been watching daily ever since i bought an Si on a whim. i was looking at some different vehicles that would be more family friendly since i got custody of my two kids . it was a post-divorce-i'm getting something cool for me and the boys (two sons) type of a gift to myself. after i bought it i started checking this site out and have been addicted to it. my oldest son (5) loves the car because it goes "turbo-boost" (v-tec). he thinks it's the fastest car on the face of the earth. he was just as crushed as me that someone hit it.

Well you should get some medicine for your kids and make sure they have plenty of rest. I would also recommend Vicks vapor rub to help relax and sooth them. Invite your ex wife out to dinner and talk things up as adults to resolve a solution that will work best for your children's future. Hope these suggestions help.

err.. I say save the money for your kids.

It'll take quite a bit of money to get it repainted.

if you want it to be done right they will probably have to blend into the quarter, if the paint isnt a perfect match, because the damage is so close to it. or atleast thats the way i was taught. 3 for the bumper atleast i think
