OEM Honda Navi Dash Trim Color Mismatch

I have done some research in the past and didnt find too much useful info and I was wondering if anyone had any updated info. Searching for this kind of thing is a bit hard since people rarely use the same keywords for these types of parts so I apologize if this has been answered.

So I bought the OEM Honda Dash trim that's made for the Navigation unit. However, the color is off from the stock dash. When I had them look up the part #, there is only one color and I have ordered 2 (1 almost a yr ago and 1 a month ago) and both came the same way. Below is a link to a picture of what Im talking about. Is there no way to get a matching piece? I even bought the scosche dash piece so I could get the black trim for the navi but the color was off and that and the paint quality/texture differed.

HELP!

it looks like the right color to me.

it should be a silvery/bronzy/metallic gray

edit:

it does not match the black dash of the Si.

Even the stock piece in my FA5 doesn't match the black

This is odd. Do you have the part number of the piece your ordered?

This might be your problem...

Civic Si: 2319722 - *NH608L* - PANEL ASSY., CENTER - UH GUN METALLIC
Civic EX: 2319723 - *YR334L* - PANEL ASSY., CENTER - US TAUPE GUN METALLIC

Ordered the wrong part number perhaps?

The dealership I ordered from only pulled up 1 part number and it was the Gun Metallic. From what I gather... the Taupe is a completely different color. Perhaps they can shed some more light on that. I'll check my receipt and keep ya posted.

It should match the driver's side panel assembly dash (the piece around the odometer etc.). It won't quite match the plastic part of the dash that covers the passenger side because it's a different material.

If there's a mismatch between the driver's panel and the center panel, maybe your stock dash is faded from the sun or something. How old is your car?

I bought the dash piece 2 days after I bought my car and that was brand new.

The part # they have on my receipt is 77250-SNA-A01ZA 169

You could call a different dealership to confirm that part number, but I suspect that they gave you the wrong part. Only real way to tell is to take it off the dashboard, flip it over, and confirm the correct part number.

I can tell you for sure that my navi trim piece is the same color as the rest of driver's side console trim.

I compared the part they ordered recently with the part I have and they matched 100%... so either they ordered the wrong part twice... or someone up above hates me.
