Quick question about the lettering on the mirror

So I'm at blue rocket's site ordering the tailight overlays and I decided to get the 'objects in mirror appear to be losing' stickers for the mirror. I went outside to check what the lettering on the mirrors already were and found out the "object in mirror are closer.." isn't a sticker, it's printed right on the mirror.

Question is, is there anyway to remove that? Rubbing alcohol or anything? I'm not going to buy the sticker if I can't remove the black lettering underneath it.

im pretty sure its cut out cuz if you look closely, you can see into it.

you can see like a circular wire that it is connected to.

i dont think it comes off.. the sticker that you buy from him goes on the passenger mirror where there is no print

Hey i got the same stickers.....I could only put it on the right hand mirror (or was it left) because one of them does not have the closer than they appear letters. Youll get some awsome reactions when people notice it.

Well that kinda sucks, the lettering is on the passenger side mirror so that's the only one most people would see anyways. Guess I'm not ordering that one. Was hoping rubbing alcohol would take it off or something similiar

It will not come off, it is on there because the mirror is conv. not flat. it is clear and made into the mirror. sorry.

I don't know much about mirrors but the on my dad's car the lettering was actually clear (non-reflective) with a piece of black tape on the backside so the letters would show up black. I don't know if civics are the same way though, hope that helps.
