mainly because it makes your car look cheap and is the first step most people take becoming a ricer. They just try to prevent these problems by not creating one.

honestly i dont know, but im sure they will soon

We get one ugly grille, and you sedan guys get all the mugen bull **** in the word, the possibility of a CF ROOF from Spoon, Type R conversions, and a myriad of JDM support. Go coupes!

edit: There was a thread right below this one when I posted this that has a carbon fiber grille replacement for sedans, granted you'd need a CSX/JDM bumper:

Now would you rather that what you posted, or this^?

Hilarious how just like on every other honda or car forum for that matter its considered rice because its on a riced out car (because if this grill were on lets say a popular member of the forum then all of a sudden it would be the best thing since sliced bread) I'm not talking about the entire car because the rest looks ridiculous but unlike most of you forum patrolling thread flamers I can seperate the two. Sure the car has alot of riced out addons and its overly tacky but personally I like the grill its a decent option versus the stock grill. Also I don't mean THAT EXACT GRILL (because the quality looks kinda egh)...which is why I said SOMETHING like this.

Ok time to put my flame suit back on and go have my own opinions outside of the hive mind!

The closest you'll see is Celsius' alternative. Again, however, the fact that the Honda symbol makes an indent in the bumper of the coupe (and perhaps the sedan) that it will leave that weird notch there.

And, I've seen pictures of this on a pretty much stock Si. I *still* don't like it because I can see the car as a whole without all the so-called ricer add-ons. Rice is an opinion, and so is aesthetics. We gave opinions, and you have a different one. Deal.

I think that's the main thing about our grilles. This aftermarket one is so thin, that you can't really see the chickenwire, so it seems very...disproportionate.

If I ever put anything that ugly on my coupe I think I'd have to open up my wrists as I wouldn't deserve to live anymore.
