DIY: touch pad keyless entry.

How to install TouchKey

This DIY is dumbed down a bit. I didnt include how to rout the wires. I think anyone who is taking this on should be able to do that already.

Make sure your keypad is plugged in to the module and stuck to the windshield before connecting any wires.

white----- wire on module attaches to this green wire shown here on the front of the cars relay box.

go to plug 18 on the back of the cars relay control module.

number 27 is gray and 28 is green

green/black----- wire connects to the cars green wire.
blue/black----- wire connects to the cars gray wire (in my picture i used a gray wire as an extention for my blue/black wire.)

red----- wire connects to constant +

black----- wire connects to constant -

yellow----- wire connects to accessory AKA ignition. I tapped in to the cigarette lighter plug. Sorry i don't have any pics, but if you are installing this you can probably figure that out anyways.

All set and ready to open and close.

I could not fully integrate it with my windows. Thats not quite what i was looking for and for this reason I decided to uninstall it. Its for sale now. http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/car-a...ml#post2868243

WTF This is bas A$$!!!! I wish I could do that!?!!!! Is it really as easy as you make it look? How do you program the code?

or if you go to the beach or something and you dont want to carry your keys... you can just lock them in the car. :)

pretty easy iinstall once you know what wires to connect it to. (which i did that already.)

you program the code by turning the ignition on and off 5 times then you enter the new code.

i explained in the end of the DIY. I couldnt fully integrate it with my windows.. Still pretty cool though. Great for the beach or clubbing when you don't want to carry your keys with you.

im selling it for $70 and it works like new

Pretty cool. Who makes this thing and where'd you get it? I know you're selling it, but I'd like to read up on some info on it since I've never seen it before.
