CLEAN sound-nothing fancy
first of all...i looked around and found near hits on what im looking for...
my buddy was driving in my si the other day (non navi) and had the music blasting...i wanted to sleep so i put in some earplugs...and the music sounded AWESOME, no garble i could feel and hear the treble and bass so well i want that sound without having to wear earplugs and while keeping the HU stock, and on a budget of at most $400 would prefer not having a huge amp and subwoofer or anything in the trunk, but will if its a must... is there a way i can replace the stock amp with one to run the stock door speakers, aftermarket tweeters and aftermarket the sub(and where is the amp?) thanks much Last edited by furryferret7888; 05-14-2008 at 09:01 PM. |

You can bypass the factory amp. There are threads here talking about that - check out the D.I.Y section.
I suggest an amp and a set of component speakers. There are several affordable sets of components that are decent and very inexpensive. Check out CDT classic, and Cadence just for example. Elemental Design also has an affordable set of components, I'm not sure if I would recommend them or not. Always do plenty of research before picking a set, and an amp to go with them. These are def worth the money: CWM-6KIT - DRIVERS - Cadence Acoustics, LTD |
