It works with the 08

I have an 06, and I don't think anything changed, so double check your wiring???

checked my wiring and then took it to a shop and had them try and program it since theyve done a lot of them and it didnt work. Thought it should work but does anyone actually have an 08 and have it work?

I also paid for a socshe trim ring and it didnt fit in my oem navi hole, ended up trying to cut it a bit and ruined it...build is definately not going well and out of frustration had shop do a couple simple things for me like run rcas and wire to trunk and mount front components think its gonna cost me like 300 just for that...damn time to reboot.

that doesnt even include putting interior back together took it apart for them to make it easier...

weird I haven't used one but I thought that was the trim ring everyone said fit perfect. Maybe they sent the wrong one.

i have an eclipse avn-6610 and just installed the pac swi-ecl2 on my 2008 ex sedan. It works perfectly. i didnt have any problems installing it, just followed the instructions. I would contact pac-audio if you cant figure it out.

Ditto the above - I just installed one this last weekend on my 08 EX sedan on a Pioneer deh 7000BT. I was worried at first about programming it, but once I got the wires spliced, it took about 5 minutes to program.

You may need to recheck your wiring!

white wire is going to pink, and brown wire next to pink and ground on pac device are both grounded to harness.

it takes the programming for the right version which is 3. I then turn off ignition then turn back on and it blinks 3 times for version like its supposed to, I then press the button and the light turn solid giving me 7 seconds to push the first button on the wheel which I do (the volume up button). I hold it but the light simply stays on until the 7 seconds are up then turns off and doesnt take any programming.

So thats the specific problem right there, and that shop has done tons of them and they couldnt get it to work either.

Not really sure what I should check in the wiring, other than maybe transistor but that should only effect the mode button I thought.

well opened it back up and all wire taps were still good and right wires were tapped.

Was going to try and disconnect the wire that goes to the kenwood h/u first then program wheel buttons as thats the only thing I could think of trying as maybe it should be connected after even if the radio is off.

Well turn ignition on and now the damn thing doesnt even light up and noticed shop changed resistor and didnt tape it up so maybe the white wire shorted it out on some metal?

Really stuck now this sucks, and it all seems so simple.

I grounded to chassis and had no problems... Maybe thats your problem?

I hope you can get it figured out! I know how frustrating this $#!+ can be!
