Navi Question...
Is $600 for a like new OEM Honda Navigation from a 2006 Civic Ex 2dr a good deal?
Included is the GPS antenna, the mounting bracket, an I-pod adapter with cables (so you can control your I-pod through the touch screen interface), the instruction booklets, and the anti-theft lock code card that came with the system. It has no scratches or dings. Only used for 6 months.... What do you guys think? |

I don't think thats a bad price. Make sure though if you are going to attempt an install that you get the right nav unit for your car.
EX Sedans require the regular sound NAV unit EX Coupes and all Si models require the Premium Sound Nav unit The unit will Say Premium right on the front if it is one.

From what I understand from folks that have looked at the pinouts for both the Nav and non-Nav connectors is that You can make it work with only a few extra wires. I mean the wires are probably in different places but you can easily add say a +12 here or the move the VSS wire to there or for example run your own reverse signal wire. It would be crazy to buy a whole new dash harness and a headache! :)
