Civic SI Rear Dash in a EX?

This is my first post. Ok, I am wanting to put a sub in my 2006 4dr EX. I like a simple look. I have seen all the fiberglass boxes for the trunk. I don't want the sub box in my trunk, as I need the room. I saw a DIY of turning a 2dr LX rear dash into a 2dr EX rear dash with 8" subwoofer. Now here is my question. I know that the 4dr Civics only have the stock sub in the SI models. Has anyone replaced there 4dr EX rear dash with one from the SI, what kind of color difference, any problems fitting the dash?

Welcome to 8thcivic!

I don't know the specifics of fit, etc, but the Si's interior color is black, so you'd be looking at a black rear deck as opposed to the gray interior of the EX sedan.
