Premium System on 08 Si

Alright so I am not able to find anything (perhaps I searched with wrong keywords) but I am going to use an MTX re-Q to clean up the signal coming from the stock headunit.

After that I am running from the re-Q to a JL 5-channel A-Series Amp, to a JL 13TW5 and off to TR-series for door and rear deck speakers.

Anyone see any possible issues I am going to run into?

Besides the fact that the factory HU in the premium system does not have any “factory EQ” to remove you should be OK. The other thing is the factory HU outputs are balanced differential so your MTX better have balanced inputs or you will get bad results.

The JL amps have balanced inputs so you can connect the factory HU directly to the amp without any intermediate boxes.
