I saw a few good DIY under the DIY section. i didnt open it yet. has any one put speakers here? 1,2,3,4,6 are answered thanks guys! If this is in the wrong place sorry move it please, And thanks in advance. Last edited by runeknight95; 05-11-2008 at 05:55 PM. |

Thanks for the reply, I Think Im going to use the factory amp with a harness, I saw whiterice make his own, you said they have a harness with rca cables?, The amp and the sub are easily put in the trunk just curious if any one had heads up on running rca and power cables, I saw like 2 or 3 DIY and they all had different locations.

More speakers do NOT simply add up to better sound. The fact that your last car had 8 speakers doesn't mean anything to anyone, really. In most cases, more speakers = worse performance, unless the system was designed by someone who really knows what they're doing, and each speaker/set of speakers has a specific and critical role. The fewer speakers you can use to properly reproduce the recording, the better.

And don't worry about WHERE to buy. Focus on WHAT you want to buy, do some research, and then use your computer to make those purchases. |

The LX doesn't have a seperate amp to worry about at all. Only the EX coupes and Si coupe and sedan do. just get the factory radio harness adaptor and install your system like you would on most cars.
