Sirius Question

I most recently sold off my '07 Hybrid w/ Navi in favor of an '06 EX w/o navi because of bad neighborhood and cheaper payments.

Can anyone who has done the XM ---> Sirius conversion tell me if any text is displayed on what little screen there is on our cars? I just got it today and have yet to twiddle around with it. Thanks!!

LOL I had this huge response. like half a page and I deleted it by mistake.

Yes it does. when you change channels it will show the station name briefly then go to the info you have it set to. ( for example artist or song title etc. ) If a song changes while your on a channel it will briefly show the artist then briefly the song title then it will default to what ever you have it set to as above. Song title will stick incorrect about 2% of the time for whatever reason and will correct the next song. It rarely happens if a song starts after a station bumper or dj chatter. not every time though just occasionally. Artist is always right as far as I have seen. So i have mine default back to that. I haven't found it to happen often but I like to do a full disclosure when explaining things :)

I like it a lot. I LOVE Sirius

Only other things to note are that the steering wheel controls only change the channel not the preset, and that the display will only show the first 16 characters and will not scroll. make sure the tuner is set to not scroll or it will do wierd things in our civics.

Thanks for your help. I had XM before and thought that the stations were kind of boring. I hope Sirius is more vibrant and can offer more variety. I'll definitely try this conversion now that I know.
