new speaker ring adapter option?
american industries HSB-518 speaker adapter

Found out about that adapter, it actually mounts the same as stock and is made for 6.5" speakers. Looks like it would be really just bolt in and go, but also looks like its made out of abs...

I bought 2 pair for front and rear works greats. Its made out of plastic. clips in and uses the 1 bolt from factory speaker.

you can get them directly from american industries, just google them.

also other websites and vendors have them like million buy.com which is where I got mine since AI non-commercial sales dept. was shut down until today.

mine should be in today and my rainbows hopefully by next monday at the latest, so I'll see if they are any good, kind of an expensive experiement if they dont work as intentioned for 30 with shipping.
