another amp intergration thread

hey hows it going. i'm about to do an installed on my 08 si coupe with the pioneer avic d1 and my question is i called up metar about the intergration and they said just to wire it normally speaker wire to speaker wire and then just tap it into the blue wire. Vs white rices method. they said there was no reseason to do this cause it's basically do the same thing.

any feedback on this or experence on this would help. should i do white rices method cause it's proven it works or do what metra said?
