New MSD DashHawk V2.4 - Tons of Great Features

Just wanted to let you guys know about an awesome product that I think is underrated and doesn't get enough coverage here. It's called the MSD DashHawk and it works with all 2006+ Civics. It's a full featured "Dash Gauge / Dyno" product, and it's not too expensive ($300), so it's a really great value in my opinion. It has many more features the ScanGauge II and plugs right into your diagnostics port, so installation is a breeze. Even comes with some handy industrial-strength adhesive/Velcro so you can mount it anywhere. Here is a short list of some of its capabilities:

* Updatable firmware (BIG plus, new features are added constantly).
* Data Logging w/ great graphing software.
* More variables and display modes than other Dash Gauges.
* Some unique variables like AFR (Air/Fuel Ratio) and Instant Horsepower.
* Background can be set to one of millions of different colors to match any Si or non-Si color scheme.
* Accurate 0-60 and 1/4 times (better than accelerometer like the G-Tech).
* Average and Instant MPG.

Here's a link to our page to find out more information or buy the product: Honda Civic MSD DashHawk at PRO Civic.com. Note that we sell the product at the lowest price the manufacturer will allow, and also offer free shipping on it =)

Other helpful info you may need when setting your DashHawk up:

2006 Civic's drag coefficient: .31
2006 Civic's Frontal area: We measured to be about 23 square feet.

Your weight will depend on what trim level and options you have. You need to add the weight of anything else in the car (including you) to arrive at the correct total weight value.

We got about 194 whp with a 2007 Si. AFR went down to around 12.2. Mods at the time of the test were Injen CAI, Hondata, and EVO2 exhaust.

Lastly, here's some pictures showing the installed product and the software:
