Trying saving it again in Photoshop using the tutorial shown, and make sure you're giving that BMP the proper filename too. In the meantime, I'll create you a new set of files and have them available to you sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Help With Navi Hack for '08
I followed jasonandre's site for the navi screen hack and got my picture on my navi screen but I still have the "navigation system" picture on top of my picture. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it but can't figure it out. Can anyone help me get rid of it? 2008 Hybrid Navi Ver. 6.62.
TIA!! |

I suppose you could just reinsert your original Honda DVD and force an update, but I don't know if that will actually work. Can't hurt though.

Here's the deal:I have an 06 NHBP Si w/ the v6.11C dvd I'm using a Memorex CD-R; 'bout to try a Maxell DVD-R (hope it works) I followed all the instructions in the site. Only difference is when the "VERSION" screen appears, this shows on mine: Program Disc: - APL: (blank) Also, the DCA0.REG file is the same as DCA0 (Registration) right? Hope some of ya'll techno-savvy folks help a brudda' out.

DCA0 and DCA0.REG are the same files. The reason you aren't seeing the .REG is because you have file extensions hidden in Windows, which you will have to un-hide in order to see the extensions.

HA! the MAN himself working on mine! :dancing:
Jason you a mutha*toot*n GENIUS mang!
Sh*t works... I'll try to post pics when I get a hold of my roommates cam. Just wondering tho'.. what did i miss/did wrong? Also, the "VERSION" screen now shows both "Program Disc & APL" numbers. Just so I know for future references. For the image... did you "pre-set" the specs like your site says or can you crop an existing image to specs? I'm not that familiar with Photoshop programs (all the more reason to learn )This MOD def added +25whp to my slow-a$$ Si Big THANKS to my man Jason |
