You had the wrong dimensions and file format, so it was an easy fix. If you need more help, just let me know.

![]() Assuming that the updated '07 DVD is nothing but maps updates, then it should work just fine. If it's also software updates, then it may or may not work. Sure wish I had the 6.55 to confirm...

It works with an 07 civic SI sedan. The file on the dvd is 07AVN2.bin not 06AVN2.bin. Also they changed the image names. It's no longer Opening1.bmp. It is now a series of images named: OpeningBase.bmp (earth scene), Navi_Title.bmp (navigation logo), and Honda_Emblem.bmp (honda sign). But other than that it works just like it does for the 06 using the bysin.exe program.

What I did was to edit those extra two files as well. I simply extracted the bin and resized the other two pictures to only one pixel big so they are practically invisible. Then you just update all three files in the bin and download it to the navi.

This is sort of on topic-
My neighbor bought an 07 Si, after driving my 06 SI. He burned me a copy of his nav disk, on a dual layer disk. I have had that disk in my nav for th last 3 months, and it has worked perfectly. I think his disk is version 6.55, and mine was 6.14. Anyway - if you are still having issues, try burning to a dual layer disk. Hipe this helps... |

Have you tried the hack with the 3 image file setup for the v6.55 nav ilcypherli? FYI: My car came with v6.11c. I just loaded v6.55 disc in. It took about 10 minutes for the car to reconize and reconfigure itself. Now I wan t to try the hack... or maybe it would be easier if I loaded my old disc back in.

Simpler instructions for navi hack for 07's
can anyone who has an 07 civic who has tried the navi hack please post SIMPLE instructions as to how to do that hack. We understand that there are 3 image files now instead of 1 but the instructions we have previously received are still a bit complicated. Thanks in advance
