Navi to Non Navi

Ok, I've search, there really isn't any TRUE DIY or straight forward answer for some questions asked about a Navi to Non-Navi.

1. Does it plug right into a non-navi wire harness?
2. If so, is there any way around it instead of buying a new harness?

I know the GPS is something you have to buy.

Also I think it should be a sticky if there is one that I just didn't see cause TRUST ME I SEARCHED. I'm an Installer for Best Buy & I haven't worked on a new 8th gen non navi so I don't know what plugs it doesn't have.

So if posibile can someone shed some light on this. I have a Navi unit that I'm selling & I might have a buyer but he asked if he needed to buy a new harness & I didn't think you did, but I'm not sure cause some threads say yes, some say no. Thanks in advance for the help.

OEM Navi to an OEM Non-Navi, I install these for a living. I sell the Scosche dash kit & have installed those before, but never done an OEM to OEM before. I'm getting the GPS tomorrow, but want to see if there is a way to not have to buy a new harness.

the OEM non-navi radio will not plug directly into a NAVI harness.

all plugs will fit except for the one for the speaker wires.
ive tried this before, it doesnt work.

at the very least you would need the end plug/hanrness for the speaker wires that plugs into teh back of the OEm non-navi radio, then solder it onto the navi one. good luck finding it.

or you can replace the entire harness.

Well that's something I can do if I could get the wiring diagram. Has anyone ever done this before.
