power window switch wires location

like the title says, where's the wire that the power window switches draw power from? and what voltage is it? if anyone knows, please lemme know!

well i dont know why u would need the location for that wire, it probably comes off the main harness. but i know that voltage is going to be the same as the batteries volate which usually is around 12v. explain what your trying to do and i might be able to help you.

I can get the colors and the location of these wires when i get to work tomorrow. I will post them for you. Are you wiring your windows to go up and down with an aftermarket alarm?

Yes I can. I can pull it off or directects web site (aka DEI support). I haven't seen any want remote windows in a long time. lol

Left front window(up/down) Yel(4dr) or Red(2dr)-Green in Driver window switch in door
Right front window(up/down) Orange-Brown in Drivers kick, door harness
Left rear window(up/down) Green-Purple in Drivers kick, door harness
Right rear window(up/down Lt.Blue-Red in Divers kick, door harness

Give me a second to find out Polarity

i'm thinking about wiring my V1 to the power window wire. when the window lockout button for is pressed, the passenger side window loses power right?

are the wires the same for the coupe?

The only difference in the two door and four is the front left wire as posted above. The first color will be the up wire and the second color will be the down wire. When the window goes up, the down wire rest at ground and and when the window goes down the up wire rest at ground. This is a rev polarity set up.

so if i have the window disable button pressed (passenger window non-operational), does that mean the passenger window loses power?

In theory yes. I would have to put a meter on it to make sure. If the switch does not get power the window will not roll up or down. I am 99% positive the That this is correct
