![]() I mounted my PDX to the box and it has slid around on me a little bit. On the PDX's, the controls have a screw-down cover that I keep having to tighten b/c it rattles it a bit, but nothing to bad I think. |

You could also consider a stealth install under a seat...
Less wiring to trunk and nothing but a nice speaker line to the sub box? Although I'm considering an amp-to-box install myself as I've got an original 10w6 in a box.. just needs amp install... I guess on the cheap for now just do the speaker level tap to the stock sub. Though I really would like to do a full 5-channel install and be done with it with mercman's kit, line level straight from head unit. Sorry... TMI. :) |

So, are you guys recommending under the front passenger's seat? Is there enough room for a decent size amp?
Or are you talking about under the rear seat (I didn't figure there would be enough air for cooling)... Sorry for the threadjack... and thanks for the opinions... |

Underneath the passenger or driver's seat. I have 2 amps in my car, one underneath each seat
![]() There is room for a decent-sized amp - I have the Alpine MRP-F300 and Alpine MRP-M350, and they both fit just fine. The only thing you sacrifice is foot-room space for the rear seat passengers. -John |
