Good luck in Life. Enjoy your time on the outside.
Dude, calm down. It was a warranty replacement. volvo covered a new one, the guts where burned out. on little things like antennas they never want to see them and they throw them out. BY "STOLE" i mean I didnt ask if i could pull it out of the garbage :) one mans trash is another mans tresure...

I Like the idea but i dont need a mouse, just a keyboard, the screen is all touch, i dont really need a keyboard anyway but it would be good for the gps.

-MP3's first and foremost, i have 40gb's of MP3's. imagin having them all at your fingers, ready to go...

-On the fly diagnostics, i have a OBDII scanner that picked up everything from airfuel to coolent temp. everything in real time. even speed and tach. i have digital guages is can turn on

-GPS, thats what the puck is for, and i get lost alot, so this will help alot. while the GPS is on the little screen will snow what is playing right now

-Radio, this is in the forum of the USB radio...

-TV Tuner, i have one laying around that i dont use for anything else and i cant really get anything for it so im putting it on as a novolty.

-Movies for passanger on long trips.

-WiFi, there is that 8gb antenna and the strongest reciver you can but, sucking up all the free WiFi there is. This means that i can link my car with my house and update my library on the fly. also surfing 8thcivic in parking lots.

-Night vision cameras for night driving aswell as a on the fly video survalance, always recording, and with a touch like if somone hits me it keeps the last 10 min, and keeps recording.

-Next year i will be getting adjustable shocks, They will be controled through this system via 4 serbos on the knobs.

Most of this stuff is just for fun but some of it is really good...

Saw this on mp3car a few weeks ago. I like the work.

Are you going to have any sound processing software, or are you going to be running a basic setup?

I actually started assembling some stuff myself to do a carputer, and managed to get a couple awesome programs (electri-Q), but after thinking about it a bit I decided to pass on the carputer for the time being. I believe I actually left you a comment over on mp3car, iirc.

Anyway, nice work. More pics!

Now im thinking of revising the look a bit, carying the curv of the front all the way to the back and making it into a little storabe box.

In all honesty, in that case, I'd just concentrate on getting everything installed and if you want further control just start thinking about going active. When you've finished the install you'll already have the hardest part of going active taken care of: the processing. Then from there it's just a matter of amplification channels and driver selection.
