Only used it a short while in a demo car when I worked at BB. It wasn't bad actually. I think there are now headunits that do the same thing, but I've had my eye on the Parrot kit for quite some time.

Just got my Parrot 3200 car kit from this place: www.parrotkits.com
Haven't installed it yet but they also sold me a harness called a QCHon-2 which makes the install plug and play for our cars. I received my order in 2 days... |

I've got a 3100 that used to be in my Protege5 and was waiting for the new harness for the EX. It works really well and when it's adjusted right, the voices come through loud and clear through your speakers. I like that when the phone rings, it mutes the stereo and if the phone is set up for it, it answers the phone by itself. All you do is say "hello". The 3100 will be going in my wife's Mazda6 and a new 3200 will go into the EX if I decide to keep it.
I also like that you can update the unit with a B.T. laptop. Of course you can buy the Rhythm & Blues headunit from Parrot and have everything in one unit. |

I was just looking at this unit since it was recommended on another forum. Glad to hear that it gets the "civic forum seal of approval" too.
![]() I am debating on whether I want to get this or try to roll my own mini pc system with this and a navi. |

I installed Parrot CK3100 in my 07 Civic sedan. It works great and mutes the stereo. I hid the mic up in the map light assembly behind the perforation so it is completely stealthy. The display unit is placed in the empty cubby where the fog light switch would be located. Let me know if you have any questions. I also posted my instruction.

Igmeister,
So, how is the sound quality for both you and your caller. I had CK3000's in my Element and WRX. The Element was unusable (still is.) The WRX (sold it for my wife's Fit) worked great on my end but my callers told me that I was hard to hear, especially at speed. Call quality is #1 concern, so how about a paragraph or two about your experience over the last two weeks? Thanks, Jon |
